Simpson Strong-Tie TWB10 Installation Overview

1. Use all specified fasteners as per guidelines.
2. Use with 16″ o.c. studs.
3. Use a minimum of 2×4 studs.
4. Establish a run-line using the bracing as a straight edge.
5. Single-cut a saw kerf 5/8″ deep along the run line.
6. Place the part into the saw kerf and secure with one nail into the top plate.
7. Tilt the wall up and plumb before nailing off the top plate, bottom plate, and studs according to the nailing schedule.
8. Wall bracing straps are limited to interior-dry use only.
