Zinc Nailon anchors are low-cost, mushroom head anchors designed for static load applications. Easily installed by driving the pin through the anchor, expanding its body to hold it securely in place.

Simpson Strong-Tie ZN18078 Installation Overview

1. Drill a hole in the base material using a carbide drill bit of the same diameter as the anchor.
2. Blow the hole clean using compressed air.
3. Position the fixture and insert the Nailon anchor.
4. Tap the anchor with a hammer until flush with the fixture.
5. Drive the pin until flush with the top of the head.

Simpson Strong-Tie ZN18078 Specifications

NOTE: Not for use in overhead applications. Nailon anchors are not recommended for eccentric tension (prying) loads as capacity will be greatly reduced in such applications.
