Simpson Strong-Tie WP36 Installation Overview

1. Use all specified fasteners.
2. Ensure joist dimensions align with hanger specifications for a secure and stable connection.
3. For wood-to-steel applications, weld the hanger to the steel header using a minimum 1 1/2″-long fillet weld on each side of the top flange, ensuring the weld size matches the hanger material thickness.
